The Project Manager will be responsible for obtaining, planning, directing, coordinating and supervising HVAC projects to ensure an on-time, on-budget project execution with high quality and no safety issues.   The Manager assists with coordinating pre-construction and project meetings to provide support in all areas of project management.  This position reports to the RNC Division Manager and works closely with all other Project Managers and installation technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project from proposal stage through closeout
  • Handle any issue that arises resulting from unforeseen conditions
  • Effectively manage and build teamwork within project execution team
  • Manage subcontractors through project completion
  • Track financial performance of projects
  • Maintain our excellent reputation with tradespeople, vendors, and customers
  • Maintain all project files, drawings/renderings, submittals, punch lists and other correspondence

Qualifications and Skills:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Understanding of building codes; proficiency with drawing take-offs, performing load calculations, equipment sizing and duct layout.

Good people skills:  represent the company in client relations, sub-contractor relationships, local vendor/supplier procurement, as well as lead and manage a team.

Strong customer service ability and focus.

Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen and possess a clean driver’s license.

Familiarity with computers; Sage experience helpful.
