Do mini-splits heat as well as they cool?
Modern cold-climate models do both exceptionally well — many of our customers heat with them most of the winter and let the furnace or boiler cover only the deepest cold snaps.
How many zones do I need?
One indoor head per area you want independent control over. A typical setup might be one zone for the main living space and one per bedroom level — we’ll size it during a free estimate.
Are mini-splits eligible for rebates?
Qualifying cold-climate ductless heat pumps are eligible for NYS Clean Heat utility incentives, and federal tax credits may apply. We’ll identify what your installation qualifies for.
