Heat pumps help provide your home with both heating and cooling, and are often much more efficient than traditional systems. Despite their name, heat pumps do not produce heat, they actually help distribute warmer or cooler air throughout your home. To cool, your heat pump will pull the warm air from within your home and release it outside. To warm, the heat pump will absorb heat from either the ground or outside and release it inside.
